BOTHX Launches Modular Construction for a Small Molecule Drug Manufacturing Facility in Wuxi

BOTHX has recently officially commenced the modular construction of a small molecule drug manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China, invested by a global leading pharmaceutical company. The project forms part of the client’s broader strategy to enhance advanced manufacturing capabilities and promote sustainable production.

With a total gross floor area of approximately 15,000 square meters, the facility is designed to deliver world-leading continuous direct compression tablet manufacturing technology and sustainable packaging production lines. The project is currently under implementation, with BOTHX adopting a hybrid delivery model combining modular construction and on-site installation to improve delivery efficiency and project certainty.

Within the project scope, BOTHX is responsible for delivering cleanroom ceiling modules for the entire packaging line, plant room modules, and MEP system modules. By maximizing off-site prefabrication, integration, and testing, followed by rapid on-site installation and commissioning, the modular approach reduces construction complexity, enhances site coordination, and supports high-quality execution under demanding schedules.
